Coast Salish Plant Nursery

The Coast Salish Plant Nursery carries a wide range of plants that are native to the region.

Our aim is to recognize and emphasize the cultural associations of Coast Salish plants, and how they can be used to improve habitat value for local wildlife.

All proceeds support habitat restoration and educational programming on Coast Salish culture and ecology. Feel good about your support for our Nursery program!

Order Information


  • 3.5″ pots – $6.00
  • 1 gallon pots – $12.50
  • Larger sizes – $25.00
We offer a 20% discount for students & people with a low income or currently experiencing financial limitations.

Order Pick-ups

Orders can be picked up on Saturdays from 1-2pm. To allow enough time to confirm payments, we will process orders made by Wednesday for the following Saturday (later orders may be delayed until the following weekend). 

The main parking lot is closed on weekends, but nursery customers with confirmed orders can enter to pick up their plants.


If you are unable to pick up on site, we offer deliveries for $15 within the Metro Vancouver Region. We will gather orders during Saturday pick-up hours and arrange delivery for the following week.


Online orders can be paid via credit card or etransfer.

If the plant you are looking for is not in stock (see order info below for link to current inventory), let us know your desired species & quantity and we may be able to stock it at a later time.

Orders will be filled on a first-come first serve basis. Please note that we are a volunteer operated social enterprise. We will do our best to respond promptly to inquiries but have limited capacity to assist with planting advice.

Once your order is confirmed, we will send you an invoice. Once payment has been received, we will be in touch about your scheduled pick up time (or delivery arrangements, as applicable). Pick ups are on Saturday afternoons from 1pm-2pm or by arrangement.

Plant walks

Regular Coast Salish plant walks are coordinated with plant sale hours. Join local ethnobotanist Senaqwila Wyss as she walks through Maplewood Flats teaching about indigenous plant use, from medicines for teas to edible berries! Stay tuned for 2020 programming updates.
