nBloom and Fruits: Delicate pendant flowers, with outer red and inner yellow petals, blooming from May to June.
nUse by people: [edible, medicinal] In Haida called ‘red rain-flowers’, and should not be picked or it would rain. Different indigenous groups had various medicinal uses for the roots and leaves. (source: Pojar)
